HOW WE HANDLE POLICY

Six Ways We Keep Your Account Protected

From the moment you create an account to the day you close it, these are the specific practices we follow to protect your data, honour your legal rights and keep transactions verifiable.

Data Collection Minimisation

We collect only your name, contact details, payment identifiers and session logs — nothing beyond what is necessary to run your account and meet legal obligations. Surplus data is not retained beyond its legal use period.

Cookie Control at Login

When you first arrive on 7chakra, a cookie consent panel lets you accept, reject or customise non-essential cookies. Functional cookies needed for login and payment processing remain active regardless of your preference.

Account Security Protocols

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Login attempts beyond a set threshold trigger a temporary lock and an email alert to you. You can also change your security credentials from inside your account settings at any time.

Retention and Deletion Schedule

Transaction records tied to UPI, Paytm or PhonePe payments are kept for the period mandated by applicable Indian law, then deleted on a rolling schedule. You can request early deletion of non-mandatory data by submitting a written request.

Jurisdiction-Dependent Access

Eligibility to hold an account depends on local law in your region. We do not accept registrations from locations where access is prohibited, and we rely on the details you provide during verification to confirm eligibility.

How to Request Changes

To correct your name, update your registered phone number or request a full data export, log in, go to Account Settings, and submit a change request. For corrections that touch identity documents, email legal support with a copy of the relevant document.

Your Rights and Our Obligations — Answered Plainly

These are the questions we receive most often about the legal terms on 7chakra. If your question is not here, reach us through the contact channels listed above and we will respond with a documented answer within two business days.

We collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth and payment identifiers such as your UPI handle or Paytm number. We also log session activity to detect unauthorised access. No additional data is collected without your explicit consent.

Records of deposits and withdrawals processed via UPI, Paytm or PhonePe are retained for the period required under applicable Indian financial regulations. Once that period expires, records are permanently deleted according to our scheduled purge cycle.

Yes. Submit a written data-access request through the legal email channel listed on this page. Include your registered account ID and the email address on file. We will compile and send your data export within fourteen calendar days of receiving the request.

Minor corrections — such as a phone number or email — can be requested through Account Settings inside your profile. Corrections to identity documents require a written request to our legal inbox along with a supporting document for verification purposes.

Send a written notice to our legal email with your account ID, the date of the decision you are disputing and a clear explanation of your concern. This timestamps your claim and starts a fourteen-day resolution window. We log every dispute and reply with a reference number.

Yes. Access depends on local law and is available only where local law permits. During account verification we confirm your location against current legal requirements. If access is not permitted in your specific region, we cannot activate your account.

Your cookie preferences can be updated at any time by visiting the Cookie Settings link in the page footer. Changes take effect immediately for non-essential cookies. Functional cookies tied to login and payment sessions remain active to keep your account working.
